How Long Does a Window Install Take?

As we never rush our projects, our talented in-house crews replace 5-8 windows per day. We are flexible to move around your house as needed if you are working from home or have a sleeping baby! Most full house window replacements are complete within 2-5 days.

Is it Worth Upgrading to Triple Pane Windows?

If you are installing high quality vinyl windows such as the Vinyltek Windows that we install, the short answer is no, triple pane windows are not worth the added expense. In our Greater Vancouver area, our winter temperatures do not get low enough to feel the benefit of triple glazed. Triple pane windows can help with noise reduction if you live on a loud street, so that can be a reason to upgrade.

How Long Does it Take to Get New Windows in Vancouver?

  1. Order Lead Time: on average between 4-7 weeks for production of the custom windows. Painted vinyl windows do take a few weeks longer than white vinyl windows as it is an additional step within the fabrication process. Fun Fact! Our windows are painted similar to how a car is painted, the paint is baked on within the factory so there is no fading or chipping overtime. We are so confident that even our painted windows carry our lifetime warranty.
  2. Installation scheduling: Once the windows are ready for installation we can often install them within 2-3 weeks from this date as we manage and schedule accurately throughout the process. Busier times such as Spring and Summer this timeframe can increase by a few weeks.
