How Can We Help?

At Long Life, we try to build 360° of trust through our transparency. If your questions are not answered below, please feel free to leave us a message through: Contact Us.

When Do I Know To Replace My Windows?

  • The current windows do not follow new climate regulations, meaning that the windows are not energy efficient
    • We install vinyl windows with Low Emissivity (Lo-E) to meet building codes and reduce cooling and heating costs
  • Window mechanisms are failing. You have difficulties with opening, closing, and locking
  • You feel cold wind coming in from your windows, meaning poor insulation and higher heating costs during winter time
  • You see decay and rot on your wood window frame
    • We would recommend replacing the window to vinyl as vinyl does not rot, decay, or warp

When Do I Know To Replace My Doors?

  • Draft is entering the home around and under the doors, meaning poor insulation
  • Doors don’t open and close properly, which can be a security problem
  • Door frame or panels are rotting

What Services Does Long Life Provide?

When Can I Expect My Windows or Doors to be Installed?

Generally speaking the project timeline is 8-9 weeks from the date you confirm your order through to your installation date. As all of our windows are custom made to order, whether they are painted, have grid designs, and different opening styles – we can usually still hit this timeline.

At Long Life, we are transparent in our communication and we will try to provide smooth service from beginning to end.

How Can I Prepare for My Installation?

  • Clear an area of about 3 feet around each window and door we are replacing
  • Secure any breakables that are hanging or sitting nearby
  • Arrange parking for our trucks: remove family cars from driveway, or stake out street parking
  • We will remove and re-install blinds and can assist in moving any large furniture

What Can I Expect During My In-house Installation?

  • Our Installation crew will go into the house and lay protective covers on the floor and furniture
  • They will remove the windows and doors as they need to be replaced, we only remove the windows/doors that we will be installing that day
  • All installations will follow Long Life’s long-standing installation method to expertly install the new windows and doors
  • Depending on the size of your project, most installations take from one to five days to complete
  • The installation crew will clean up after the project is completed
